This is more than just a review for me — it was an experience that deeply affected me as a first-time grandmother. The first-time mother in this story is my daughter. At what point do we stop being human and become so focused on our professions that we no longer see the person in front of us, only the process or the payout? How many appointments can be done in a day? How quickly can we move on to the next? As I was told in front of my daughter, “We do this every day.” But the truth is, we don’t. This was our first time — and you only get your first time once. My daughter’s last menstrual cycle was on July 5, 2025. I am writing this a day after our experience with Dr. Femi on September 24, 2025. My daughter had already had a few encounters with him while trying to navigate her first pregnancy — young, hopeful, and uncertain. After several emergency room visits and confusing follow-ups, she still could not answer a simple question every expectant mother should know: How far along are you? So many things were happening, yet no one stopped to explain. No one asked, Do you have any questions? or Do you understand? Even by September 25, 2025, her prenatal vitamins had still not been sent to the pharmacy. And now, she is processing the devastating possibility of needing a D&C — without ever fully understanding why. During our visit on the 24th, we met Dr. Femi. He seemed intelligent and confident. But what followed happened so fast that it left us confused and heartbroken. As he performed the sonogram, he quickly concluded it was a miscarriage. I was shocked — I had just seen the image of a fetus on the screen. I asked questions — over and over — and he answered briefly, moving on. If I had not spoken up, my daughter might have agreed to a D&C without truly understanding what was happening. My daughter walked into that clinic surrounded by other expectant mothers with growing bellies — something she had been so eager for herself. Instead, she walked out in tears, uncertain, and grieving a loss she didn’t yet fully understand. Even now, we don’t know how far along she truly was. We were given different answers each time. It is October 28th and till this day her prenal was never sent and the FEMI practice never even followed up with my daughter to see if she was needing the Dand C. I cannot recommend this doctor. I immediately took my daughter to the emergency room to request a transfer to another provider — one who would see her as a person, not a payout. She is a young woman — scared, heartbroken, and deserving of compassion, reassurance, and clear information. May God bless you, Dr. Femi. Your blessings are many. But please remember — just as God gives, He can also take away. Never forget to see your patients — especially these young women — as what they are: beautiful mothers-to-be, fragile and full of hope. We are not your payout.

Dr and staff seemed really nice, this was my first visit. The lack of privacy during the triage and lack of cleanliness was really off putting. The exam room was not well kept and the Sono machine was really dirty.

My rating would have been Higher, if not for the front desk, receptionist Lulu Had to take a full day to think of how I was going to rate my experience mind you it was my first time there. Where do I start; well, let’s start at the beginning because that’s where it started and it ended. 1. Upon my arrival not a very friendly greeting from the receptionist when I asked to confirm the date that was the 25th and got another crazy look from her 2. After turning in my paperwork, she told me that I didn’t write down the address to the CVS pharmacy I told her I did not know it. She proceeded to tell me that I could look it up on my phone, which my response to her was I don’t have my phone. It’s MIA at the moment which it was none of her business, but I had forgotten it at home. 3. When I received my paperwork for labs after I walked out of the office, I noticed my name was misspelled, so I quickly went back inside and let Lulu know that my name was misspelled. She proceeded to tell me that she had corrected it where the correction was made. I don’t know, but clearly on the paperwork it was wrong. I did ask her to make sure that in the system, my name was spelled correctly because I didn’t want any issues with my insurance company then she proceeded to let me know that she had made the Correction. At this point, I would’ve thought she would just have taken the paperwork back and do a reprint by instead she proceeds to let me know that the correction was made. What did she think that I somehow magically have a printer outside in my vehicle and was able to reprint The paperwork? When she went back to the medical assistant to give her back the paperwork, I did make the comment to the other three ladies that if she was having a bad day or if she needed a coffee or maybe she’s having a bad day because she needs more coffee maybe her romantic situation is not going well or has some financial issues. Those are the only three reasons why a female is so mean and rude to another female. All three of them were shocked at my reply to them or response at the end of the final encounter with Lulu I did let her know that I would pray for her to have a better day and for the Lord to bless her heart so because of this whole interaction with Lulu, it’s kind of hard to recommend the facility The rest of the stuff was great. Doctor Femi was excellent. Took his time, asking questions, providing great answers, was very informative, attentive, and had a great bedside manner. Thank you to Doctor Femi and the rest of the stuff. Sincerely. S. Torres (9/25/2025)
